Eugene, WordPerfect 5.1 has a Cyrillic Character Set (Set number 10). You can access these characters using the compose (Ctl-2) function. The problem with this revolves around screen fonts and printer fonts. WordPerfect will print these characters in graphics mode if you don't have a Cyrillic font cartridge or Cyrillic soft fonts for your printer. I use graphics mode - which means the characters don't have the same "look" as English characters I'm using at the time. WordPerfect doesn't have an easy way to utilize screen fonts so you can see the Cyrillic characters on your editing screen with your English characters. I didn't buy the WP Russian language module which provides the screen fonts for several graphic cards, the keyboard layouts and some printer fonts. This means I see a little box on the screen for every Cyrillic character (and Greek and Hebrew etc.) that I use. There are some third party products which also supply screen fonts etc. What I did is the poor mans way - I built my own keyboard driver for Cyrillic and Greek - I view them using View Document in the print menu and then print them in graphics mode which can take a long time. I guess I could send you my RUSS.KBD and GREEK.KBD file if your interested. Tom Dolan Dolan@acuvax.acu.edu
