I too believe that WordPerfect defines an end of line with a (HRt) and
not a (SRt).  I think that if you complete some more tests that you will
find that WP does some very strange things when sorting with (SRt) as the
delimiters for you lines.  I believe that the WP Manual tries to state
some of these oddities itself.
