If I were you I would check for a virus infection.  Some
viruses only react to certain the typing of certain strings,
for example reagan or bush or sex or whatever the juvenile
writer of the virus had on his/her mind.
  My favorite virus check is SCAN from McAfee Associates in
Pittsburgh which is shareware available everywhere.
Version 84 is about the latest.
  I hope this is not your problem.
