I just changed the margins, tab sets, and justification for a long document with lots of footnotes. The footnotes appear with the old margins and justification. Is it possible to change the footnotes to the new margins and justification without going back to setup and changing the defaults, and without going into every footnote and inserting margin codes? Thanks. Don Dreisbach FADD@NMUMUS

Don Dreisbach FADD@NMUMUS In order for the new margin, tab, and justification settings to affect footnotes, they must be entered in 'Initial Codes'. To get to the 'initial codes' entry screen: 1) press <shft-F8> (format), 2) choose <D>ocument, and 3) choose 'initial codes'. Enter the formatting codes just as you would on the normal editing screen. Codes entered on this screen will affect footnotes and endnotes as well normal text.
