Does nayone know how to change the cursor from an underline to a block...I could never find it on my laptop.

There is a little utility called cursor.com. If you run it, it will
give you a screen full of choices, and then execute the one you like
best. It will also tell you the command line syntax to put in your
autoexec.bat to make it your "default."
