Hello, I need to set up a word document (using version 5.1) so that I can do the following. I wish to be able to say in the body of the text something like 'see figure 4 on page 7'. If I merely look up the page number of the figure and refer to it explicitly, every time the document changes and repaginates I will have to go through and change all the page references (there will be lots). Is there a way to identify (maybe as a variable) a given page number which updates as the document changes and insert this variable at some other place in the document, to be substituted for by the correct value, either after repagination (ideally) or at print time. Many thanks for any info, I prefer email replies. Regrads, Rolf.
