Or simply get the file onto a PC: Word for Windows can open Mac  Word files 
(if the appropriate conversion filter is installed). I take files back and 
forth between Word for the Mac and Windows fairly regularly, and I've found it 
works better to always keep the file in Mac format: apparently Word for 
Windows does better job of conversion than Word for Mac.

The biggest problem will be getting the file onto the PC. There are basically 
two ways to do this. If possible, copy the file to a network server that 
serves both machines (e.g., Novell). Or, use a utility such as Apple File 
Exchange or PC Exchange to copy the Mac file to a DOS floppy disk.
