Call your >local Sun dealer. Sun's I18n Guide is a good start. However, it is based on the old setlocale model (that was first published in XPG2 1985!). And also, I think it is a bit biased to Sun platform. A similar model is presented in "Internationalization Made Easy" by OSF. Depending on the nature of your application, these docs might work for you. If your application uses distributed computing or client/server technology, none of the above docs would be appropriate. I would recommend checking out "Distributed Internationalization Services" from X/Open. This doc represents the joint recommendation of the X/Open and UniForum Internationalization Working Groups.
