Japanese Windows (Windows 3.1/V) is available in the U.S. through two
distributors, NOT through Microsoft.  There are a host of legal,
marketing, and logistical reasons for this.  The two distributors are
listed below.   Also, MS-DOS/V (5.0) is an OEM product only.  This
means you can not buy it from a software retailer, or MS.  It *is* part
of the Far East SDK (which includes 9 other retail items on CD ROM),
for development purposes only.  Alternatively, the same two
distributors can probably get IBM DOS/V (IBM is an OEM), which will work.
