is there any way to get a sparc classic x working like a sparc classic ? - i
have one old hanging around here and would like to use it to runn Net-/OpenBSD
or linux on it - but i don't know how to boot it from the disk - all the
hardware (scsi controller and connectors) are there but it looks like it
always tries to boot from the net - is there any way to boot it from the disk
(sorry i'm new to the sparc so i don't know much about it and hope someone can
help me out) - just to make it more clear - it's a sparc classic x - so
usually intended to use as an xterminal - if i remember right i've read
somethere in the news or somethere else that it should be possible to
eventually convert it to a classic by some sort of command or such - but i
don't remember where i read this and its some time ago now (that time i never
thought to get such a thing into my hands some day later :-)

a lot of thanks in advance

p.s.: please mail me your response - because i don't read this group regularly
