Hi Everybody, Probabaly I'm on the wrong newsgroup but I couldn't find something more suitable. (if you know a more appropriate group for this question please let me know) The problem is as followed: We have some files which are generated by some program on Linux Red Hat 7.1. These files are automatically copied into some directories. Once they are there we need to mail them out and this happenes by hand at the moment ;(. What we'd like to have is a cronjob which runs every night checking for the file and if a file is there mail it to a specific user. We would like to use UNIX mail or something else for that but at least something that can be scripted. Has anybody any idea how to do this? (NOTE cron + scripting no problem I only need the command how to generate a mail message WITH attachement automatically) Thnx in advance! Best regards, Ron
