WA gov't introduced an initiative, actually called waterwise. It gives a
little money back if you buy a frugal shower head, a water tank or um
certain wash machines I think. Many instant water heaters won't work with
reduced flow and most tanks are empty long before it rains again. Much of
the water is used by industry and they are adding new houses to the end of
the pipe quicker than I can fix our leaks. When someone even admits we have
a population problem I might care again.
