FMDS'98 - First IEEE Workshop on Formal Methods for Dependable Systems
Sponsored by IEEE Computer Society
IEEE YUFORIC Task Force
IEEE CS Technical Committee on Complexity in Computing
The First IEEE Workshop on Formal Methods for Dependable Systems
(FMDS'98) will be held at the Carlton Crest Hotel, Brisbane,
Australia, on December 8th, immediately prior to (and co-located with)
the 2nd IEEE International Conference on Formal Engineering Methods
(ICFEM'98).
The aim of the workshop is to provide students and young professionals
working in the areas of formal specification, proof, correctness,
theorem proving, dependability, real-time systems, and high-integrity
systems, amongst others, with a forum for presenting their
work-in-progress, thesis results, or recently completed work. It will
also provide students, educators and industrialists alike with
knowledge of current research work in the area of formal methods, and
the directions that other students and young professionals are taking.
Attendance at the workshop is open to all, and those attending FMDS'98
are eligible for the ICFEM'98 rate at the Carlton Crest Hotel,
Brisbane.
