Title: Building Dot.Coms

Date: Wednesday, 26th April 2000
Time: 11.00am
Place: Lecture Theatre S310, Faculty of Information Technology,
         Queensland University of Technology

Abstract:
---------
Since August 1998 I have been designing and building the systems
that drive some very large dot.com businesses as well as sites for
large bricks and mortar establishments. In this seminar I want to
cover some of the issues involved in bulding these sites and how
this relates to the skills acquired at University. I hope to give
you a high level view of what we've been doing in London and where
I believe the technology in web sites is going.
