Abstract:

	Dr. Geva will present an efficient record retrieval system and 
demonstrate its utility in full-text searching of a HTML collection consisting 
of hundreds of files.  The software supports efficient and powerful search 
operators.  The application of this tool in the context of cooperative web 
search engines will be discussed.  It should be of interest to those working 
with or teaching fundamental file access algorithms as well as to those working
on parallel distributed search engines, and document retrieval systems.
