When I was growing up, my mom had an electric stove upstairs and a gas one in the basement. I know she preferred to cook on the gas one and the only reason it wasn't moved upstairs was due to the kitchen layout (it was a built in range). Even with 3 boys running around the house, she never seemed concerned about us getting hurt with the stove around. Though we were told never to touch it. She also mentioned last year that if she bought a new stove, would go back to a gas one. hope this helps. ...brett +======================================================================+ | | | Brett Caldwell | Phone: (613) 763-7758 | | Bell-Northern Research Ltd. | Unix Mail: caldwell@bcars173 | | Ottawa, Ontario, Canada | Internet: caldwell@bnr.ca | | | +===============================+======================================+
