I'm still collecting Kodak UPC symbols (bar codes) to order Kodak Kolorkins stuffed toys to donate to CHEO (Children's Hospitalof Eastern Ontario). The offer for the toys is only available in Canada, but the bar codes can be from anywhere. So if you live in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Europe or anywhere else on earth, you can help out too! The bar codes can be from any box of Kodak amateur color film, minimum 15 exposures. Amateur film is any film not designated as professional film, and can be for prints or slides, for any type of camera. The bar codes are usually found on the bottom or side of the box, or sometimes on a round sticker on the roll of film. Each film bar code is worth 10 points, and 100 points are required for each toy. Bar codes from double or triple packs are worth 20 and 30 points respectively. *NEW*: I'm also collecting bar codes from Kodak Funsaver cameras, the single- use cameras that are popular for weddings, vacations, watersports, and panoramic photos. These are also great for use by children. Each Funsaver bar code is worth 25 points. *NEW*: I've sent a request to Kodak Canada, asking them to match my UPC symbols, or to waive S&H charges that I've been paying myself, or to donate toys directly to hospitals and charities. I'm waiting for a response before sending in the bar codes I've accumulated so far, worth 1700 points. Before deciding to do this, I sent in bar codes worth 600 points, and received 6 toys. I'm waiting to get more toys before donating them to the hospital. Thanks to my coworkers at BNR and the generous people on the net who have contributed so many barcodes. I'd like to collect more before the Kolorkins offer expires at the end of October. My last order will be sent to Kodak in mid-October. Please send them to me at the address below, and put a smile on the face of a hospitalized child. Thanks in advance! Jennifer Robinson Dept. 7G12, CAR 289 Bell-Northern Research P.O. Box 3511, Stn. C Ottawa, Ont. K1Y 4H7 CANADA Note: US postage to Canada is 40 cents for the first ounce, 23 cents for each additional ounce. The opinions expressed are my own. I have no commercial connection with Kodak or CHEO. This is my own private project.
