I can't seem to find any IPC stuff on the Apollos; i.e., there is no support for shared memory segments (shmat, shmctl, etc.), message queues (msgctl, msgget, etc.), or semaphores (semctl, semget, etc.). Is there any way to do this kind of stuff (without using sockets directly)? Thanks, Norm. -- +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ Norm MacNeil Phone: (613) 763-7497 CAD Operation Tools Development Fax: (613) 763-3317 Bell-Northern Research Ltd.
