Hi, I am creating an application comparable to the Borland SQL Explorer, but using ADO. The user can add a server by creating a connectionstring. I would like to know however which type of database i am connecting to. For example MS SQL Server, MySQL, Informix,... Depending on this, I can add functionality that is only available for that DBMS. Is there a way to retrieve this information? regards, Koen
