Hi Stephane,
  Theres no error with this method, just you having a little 
misunderstanding...  The -->LoadFromFile(...) method is for reading in 
dataset that have been previously saved in XML or Borland Proprietary (ADTG) 
formats .   Read the C++ help section on using the 
TADODataSet->SaveToFile(...) and TADODataSet->LoadFromFile(...).
