Hi,

I have built two databases using InterBase 6.0. One database stores
Material information and one database stores a sets of Instructions that
uses different materials. Please note that I would like to keep the two
databases separate.

In my Instructions database, certain tables that need material related data
store material numbers. Through these material numbers, I am able to
retrieve the material information that I need for the Instructions in my
application. I have a search form in which a data grid displays the search
result for Instructions. I would like that search grid to display the
material data for that instruction at the same time as well. Can anybody
devise a way of doing so?

Also, please tell me the code to create a persistent field component at run
time and assign it to the value of a persistent field from another dataset?

Thank you.
