Word of advice: "Use ADO". When using TTable you have to use a database that has an ODBC data source registered. With ADO, you can dynamically build a connection string that connects to the data provider. Its nicer. To register a database to use ODBC, go to Control Panel->BDE Administrator. Right click the Databases node, and select new. From the list choose Access (or whatever). Then fill out the stuff on the right pane. To use an ODBC database using TTable, set the DatabaseName property to the one you want to use. Then select the TableName. Regards, Tharun
