Hi, i use a ADOTable (or ADODataSet) and ADOConnection, both with it's default settings. When i add a new Record or modify an existing Record everithing works well, when the Fields are Integers. But when one of the Fields is a String, i get an Error that one of the Dataproviders or another Service returned E_FAIL. When i use an ADOCommand object with an INSERT or UPDATE statment i can insert the String value. Anyone has an idear where to look for a solution or can give me a little hint? I use BCB 5.0 Enterprise with Update and ADO Patch. MDAC 2.6 with SP1 Thx Andy
