    thank you very much for your interest. My thought it's BCB fails to handle
exceptions coming from some ADO providers. I'll make further investigations,
but it seems to me that, with the same code, if I change the Ole/DB provider
(that is, to change the connection string) some exceptions fires correctly.
I've tried to switch back and forth from MS-SQL server Ole/DB provider and the
MS-JET Ole/BD provider and the behavior isn't the same for both driver under
same error condition. I'll hope to be more precise in a next post. Now, I've
to continue to develop another application, so I've to stop to searching for
possible solutions/workarounds. I'll let you know if I'm able to find a
solution.
