I finally got the ADO update installed (BCB5ADOUpgrade1.exe).  I had to
fully uninstall and reinstall BCB5, then installed the BCB patch
(BCB5ProUpdate1.exe), then the ADO Express components, and finally the ADO
update.  And now I find that it didn't fix the problem that prompted me to
load the ADO update in the first place.  When I'm stepping through a
filtered table and get to the end, the FindFirst and FindNext functions both
cause exceptions.  The exceptions can't be caught with a "try/catch".  The
error message is "Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been
deleted...".  This is exactly what the ADO update is supposed to fix.  I've
DEFINITELY installed both the BCB update and the ADO update.  I also
installed MDAC 2.6, Service Pack 1.  If I run the executable (outside of the
CBuilder IDE) I don't get the exceptions. If I run within the IDE, I get the
exceptions.  I don't know if it matters, but this is an ActiveForm project.

Can anyone shed any light at all on this?  Did the ADO update fail to fix
the problem for anyone else?  I need to deliver a product soon, and this is
all that's holding me up.  I can't just rely on the executable to not give
the error message -- a beta tester reported getting the error.  Any help
would be GREATLY appreciated.
