Hello all, A question to clarify to myself the situation: Does exists a provider-independent, robust (multi-user) way to track the auto-incremented counter assigned as primary key by the DBMS to the records inserted via ADO? I tried this in so much variants (under Interbase), and never found a solution... Just to know, if it's not possible i'll drop the autoInc field and use the good-old method: SELECT MAX(id)+1 FROM <table> Thanks... Umberto Uderzo
