Hi All I'm trying to use pessimistic locking in BCB5 / ADOExpress against a single table in a SQL Server 7 database. I've set cursor location to clUseServer, and LockType to ltPessimistic. Using this combination I have found that ony one user can use the table at any one point in time. The second user is barred from opening a recordset based on the table (causes time-outs when opening). Is this a bug? Or is there some setting which I am forgetting about? Thank you for any clues. Alon
