Hello. The trouble is: 1. I have an Interbase 6.0 table with an "id" primary key field that is computed on insert by a generator. 2. On client side there is an TADOTable connected with the Interbase one. 3. When i invoke the Append method to insert a new row and begin assigning values to the new row fields (table->FieldByName( "id_customer" )->AsInteger = n) i receive an "Unknown Error" exception. I confirm and the value is correctly inserted into the field. 4. Performing with a connected DBGrid several modifies on the row data i receive a message that tells me that data maybe changed into the database row and there is no enough information to identify the current row for update. I tried to set the AutoInc and Providerflags to inKey for the "id" field but seems do nothing useful. Where is the (sure stupid) mistake? Thanks... Umberto
