Hello,

I have BCB 5 Enterprise and SQL 7

In my DB i have 2 Tables (Table A & B) with both the same fields (Table B is for archive purpose)

I have 1 Stored procedure : purpose : move a record from Table A to Table B

In my BCB project I have a connection object, 2 table objects and a Stored proc Object. Table B is Read-Only. And I can see the contents of both tables in a DBGrid for each.

I can add, delete and modify records in Table A, that works. When I use the stored Proc - the goal is to delete the current Record in table A and add it to Table B - it works, means the record is deleted from Table A but is not visible in Table B. ONLY when i close the application and start it again I can see the record has been added to Table B. Does this mean I ALWAYS have to close & re-open the connection object in order to see changes ? Surely, this can't be ? All objects i use, use the same session ... (I have tried, refresh, resync, reopening the table ... but nothing seems to work ...)

All objects use a client side cursor, locktype is optimistic and cursor isolation is "ilcursorstability" ...

whar could be wrong here ?????
