Hi, I am inserting character data into a database. ADO appears to be inserting a null-terminator on the end of the data when it puts it in the database. I say this because no matter what length my db field is the string I put in through ADO must be one character shorter than the length of the field. Here is an example of how I am setting the field values: rs->get_Fields()->get_Item( "DO_ACCESS" )->set_Value ( var ); - var is a char* ... rs->Update(); Am I correct in thinking that ADO is inserting the null-terminator into the database? If so can I change some property to keep it from doing so? Thanks, kirk
