problem with recordset (OleVariant)

Hi ,i am a beginner in c++ builder.

I have 1 ADOConnection control on the form and connection is set to SQL

I want use recordset object !!
in my code is :
---------------------------------

_di__Recordset record;
record->Open(L"Select au_id, phone, au_lname from authors",ADOConnection1);


But there is  a error :   Cannot convert 'TADOConnection *' to 'OleVariant'

What have i do ?
