Using BCPP5+ADO+MS Sql Server 7 When I issue a Batch Update command with a TADODataSet, it may happen that the DB raises an error message, using a RAISERROR statement. In ADO I found that this raises an EOleException exception. Unfortunately I only get a Message, a Source and an ErrorCode. The source is obviously the OLE DB Provider, and the message is what I get printed. But I don't know if there is a relationship between the ErroeCode (a horrible -2147217900 for a Primary Key Violation, for example) and the true DB error code, which I would like to intercept for my own purposes. Is it possible to have other info from Sql Server? If so, how? The error code I get is in any way "decodable"? Thanks a lot -- Ing. Piero Salandin piero.salandin@libero.it
