Hello...

I'm working on a database programming using Borland C++ Builder and an
Access database and have been running into a problem on several of my forms.

I get the following error if I do one of the following 2 things with the
forms:

1.) If I'm in a form and I change some of the fields that are attached to a
database and then I update the databaseand then change something else and
try to update again.

2.) Or... if I add a new record and then after updating move to a different
record and come back to the new record and try to delete the new record

The error message is: "Row cannot be located for updating. Some values may
have been changed since it was last read."

The only work around that I have found is to do the following in my update
code: Save the current row, close the dataset, re-open the dataset , and
then to relocate the row. It's not pretty!

I have searched the web and found several other people with this same error
and no solution. I'm hoping that someone can help.

Thanks!
~Rhonda~
