Hi there,

platform : NT4 sp6, BCB 5 with sp1 and ADO patch,  Client Access Express OLE
DB driver for AS/400.

I've got a strange thing happening with a TADOQuery  with an IBM ole db
driver for AS/400.

It's a join statement wiich returns about 1700 records. it's about 150.000
bytes of data coming over a phone line but if I check my memory usage during
the execution of that query it grows dramasticaly , more than 250 mb of
memory get used (somtimes receiving a warning from the os stating that my VM
usage is limit ) !!! My app itself only takes up 40 mb at that time ,
dropping sdown at 7 when closing the query .

Did anyone experienced something similar  with the ADO components ?
Any clue about the cause of this very strange behaviour.
