Hello! I'm trying to use ADO to access an ORACLE (Personal 7.3.4 in particular) database, to consult and modify some records. Everything seems to work fine if I run the application outside Builder. Yet when I run it inside Builder (either in debug or release mode) it gives me an access violation when exiting (apparently when it is destroying some component objects, such as the main form). I'm closing the connection before exiting! Is there a bug in ADO with the ORACLE access?! With ACCESS, for instance, it never happens. I'm using C++Builder 5 Enterprise with Update Pack 1 and Windows 2000 Professional. And one last thing: I'm trying to apply the ADO Express Update 1 but it refuses to install saying I don't have Builder Update Pack 1... But I do! What's wrong with the setup?! PLEASE HELP!
