Hello,
I am using CB5pro, with ADOExpress, I have installed the latest ADOExpress
patch for CB5. I am also attaching to a MS SQL 2000 database, using MDAC
2.6. . I am using ADOQuery to work with the tables. Anytime I filter a
table and the result ends up being an empty instance of the table a BOF EOF
exception is thrown. I have read information about problems of this, and
apparently they have been fixed. But the problem still comes up. I never
had this sort of problem when I used MS SQL 7.0. Is there solution?
As an example of what I am doing. I have two tables:
TableA: TableB:
ID ID Id number-auto generated - key
Name AID references to ID in Table A
Description
I have to queries.
QueryA, and QueryB. I have two DBGridsA, and B. When ever DBGridAScroll
Event is triggered it will filter QueryB. But if QueryB ends up being empty
the exception is raised.
Is there a better way to do this, is there a way to fix this?
-Peter
