imho ADO over ODBC it is BAD thing.
I think now exist 2 or 3 native ADO provider for Interbase.

About other please ask at mers.interbase.list
(on server news.mers.com)

Also if you want use ODBC(Or ADO over ODBC) for Interbase,
try to use EasySoft ODBC it better ( www.easysoft.com )
