ADO - Cant find ora73.dll but we use oracle 8...

I have a program written using ADO to connect to an Oracle 8 database.
Whenever I connect, i get an error saying cant find ORA73.DLL. I can click
OK and the program then continues and wroks perfectly. Why is the program
looking for oracle 7.3 runtime dll's? Is thier a switch to disable it?

Any help greatly appreciated before end of week!!!
