Querry->FieldByName("")->AsXxxxx

Do not multi post in the future.  This goes against the rules of use for these
newsgroups (www.borland.com\newsgroups) and can get your posts canceled.  Your
question had absolutely nothing to do with ADO, InterbaseExpress or Multi-tier
work.  Pick the single most appropiate group and ask it there.
