Hi Mark,
    Thank you for your responce, but maybe you didn't understand what I
meant. I created a class derived from TDataset in fact I overloaded the pure
virtual methods of TDataset to use a betrive database which gives me some
approximation for the current record the problem is that I don't know if I
should overload some virtual methods to let the DBGrid know current
position. Just like TTable lets this to TDBGrid.
