Maybe this is a stupid question, but i'm running C++Builder5 Professional with the ADO Express components. When I run on my one computer with windows 98 everything works great, but when I install and run on Windows 2000 and try to select the data provider from the datalink properties window after I select build connection string I get an error message "Provider no longer available" when choosing the majority of providers including the Microsoft OLE DB provider for ODBC drivers, which is the one I need. Now I had it working for a short time when after I installed Office 2k, but once again, for no apparent reason it is doing it again, and well I really want to know why!? I would appreciate any help or information anyone can give on this subject. Thanks Mark Buzzard
