my problem is the following one:

In my program I have the following lines:(almost)

.
AnsiString sql="UPDATE UGROUPS SET Text='<I>Forkortelser</I>' , div='\":
' WHERE id='4'";
mDb->ExecQuery(sql);
.
.
.

This raised an execption with the follow text:
...EDatabaseError with message 'Fileld " is of  an unknown type '
I have note the problem only with the combination  ": ,or """: ,or
""""": in a field ,
I mean a odd number of " followed by one  :
 Is this a Bug in the BDE ????
waiting foe answer.
