I am using C++ Builder 5.0, with ADOExpress, to connect to SQL Server 7.0 Database. I setup my ADOConnection string using the SQL Provider, and my Datasource is my external ip address. When I run the application internally, I can connect with no problem. I tried running the app externally, and I receive "cannot find server" error message. I figured that it was my Firewall, (winroute) so I turned the engine off. I ran the app again, and now I received an error message of access denied.
