Ok, I am doing this now:...

TExecuteOptions *MyExeOpts = new TExecuteOptions();
TADOQuery *ADOQuery1 = new TADOQuery(NULL);

//...

try {
    ADOQuery1->Recordset = ADOConnection1->Execute(MyCmdStr, cmdText,
*MyExeOpts);
    int i = ADOQuery1->FieldByName("PK")->AsInteger;
} __finally {
    delete ADOQuery1;
    delete MyExeOpts;
}

I am getting a stack overflow when trying to assign the Recordset property
of the TADOQuery object to the return value of the TADOConnection Execute
method.
