why not use sql

ADOQuery1->Connection  =ADOConnection1;
ADOQuery1->SQL->Add("SELECT * FROM yourtable");

ADOQuery1->Active = true;
int i = ADOQuery1->FieldByName("PK")->AsInteger;
ADOQuery1->Active = false;
