    We're using Delphi 5.01 Enterprise, Oracle 8.0.6 Server, MDAC 2.6, on
Windows 2000 Server . My application is MTS-stateless MIDAS application. I
already applied the ADO patch that you posted from code central. My problem is,
if  I assigned  a field TStringField with '' (empty string/double quotation),
when I saves the record, it shows an error saying "Parameter object is undefined
or intermittent".  If I set ResolveToDataset from TDatasetProvider to true, it
doesn't show my that error but when you modify the record and save it, it will
show you another error: "Record change by other user.". I read one of your
article on this newsgroup that you don't recommend setting resolvetodataset to
true from TDatasetProvider co'z it will suffer performance. You even wrote that
if this error has been resolved, please set resolvetodataset properties to
false. Now, We're using ADOQuery to deal with our oracle tables co'z we came
from BDE based MIDAS application server. What do you think, Mark?
