0f i got you right, your problem is to allow the zero length string! if it is true you have to use microsoft access program for restructure the DB. when you install the access prgram your DB is automatically understand this prog. so you click twice the DB and access will open it. then you will click right on the DB's name and say design. after all you can restructure or rebuild your DB. I hope 1 did understand you RIGHT. :):)
