I want to add a few column to a worksheet of an excel file.  I also want
that I should be able to use these columns in the later part of the
execution.  Alter table command should do this but somehow i am not able to
use it. It gives table not found error when i know for sure that the table
exist as the selece command is working.  At one time (i donno how but i was
able to create columns in the table but those were reflected into the table
only after program termination.  Maybe it requires to reset the connection.
Any pointer/ code fragment/ workarounds etc. to help me out.

I am using BCB6.
