Hello,
I am migrating from BDE to ADO. I have the following BDE code
try
{
Session->GetTableNames(databaseCersr->DatabaseName, "", false, false,
TableList);
if (TableList->IndexOf(TableName) >= 0)
{
retVal = true;
}
}
catch(EDBEngineError &e)
{
}
delete TableList;
return retVal;
}
I am changing it to this
try
{
databaseCersr->GetTableNames(TableList,false);
if (TableList->IndexOf(TableName) >= 0)
{
retVal = true;
}
}
catch(EDBEngineError &e)
{
}
delete TableList;
return retVal;
}
Though I found out that EDBEngineError is not the proper catch. Can someone
tell me what is?
Thanks

Not sure if this helps, but I use
bool Query_fail = false;
try
{
ExecSql(S);
}catch(Exception &e){
ErrMsg = e.Message
Query_fail = true;
}
