Hi,

I have an ActiveX Active Form Application (.ocx) which I depolyed via IIS.

The Active Form Application is running fine.

Now I want to place DBGrid on the Active Form and bind it to a Database on
the server, when the Active Form loads on the clients web broswer, the
ADOConnection object will be looking for the Database on the client station.

How can I direct the adoConnection to connect to the Database on the server.

on the loading asp page using server.createObject, I was able to connect to
the Database on the server, but then I don't know how to pass the created
object to the Active Form for binding to the DBGrid on the Form.

Please can any one please direct on how to use an TADOConnection control on
an Active Form and have it connect to the Database on the Server.

ATTN: [Remy]

Thanks All
Darl.

You can not pass connection object from server to client. You can save
recordset to stream, send stream to client and load recordset from stream at
client. You may setup your DBMS to allow access from Internet (depends on
DBMS).
